The Reliant Health Practice Management Solution was designed specifically for physician practices. Whether your practice is small, medium or large, Reliant Health provides a comprehensive and Integrated System for patient registration, scheduling, superbills, billing and reporting.
Registration: Easily register new
patients at the time an appointment is set up or at a later, more
convenient time. You can edit, add or delete patient information at any
time. The registration screen prompts you to add pertinent information
including patient code, name, demographics, employment, address,
insurance, co-pay, eligibility inquiry and other details. It is from the
registration screen that you enter the patient's insurance information --
which is critical to creating claims later. Eligibility Inquiry lets you
inquire about a patient's eligibility for the coverage of services from
the provider. The inquiry can be created and sent to the payer before a
service is provided to a patient to determine if a particular service is
covered. The inquiry is automatically sent in EDI format to the payer and
the response is received by the Reliant Health System.
Scheduling: Make appointments for
patients, cancel or edit appointments that were made earlier or create an
appointment in the wait list if the requested slot is not available. The
easy-to-use system allows you to quickly find open slots and schedule
appointments while patients are waiting. Appointments can be made with
reminders to email or phone the patient regarding his appointment a day or
an hour beforehand depending on his request. Appointments can be repeated.
For example, if the patient has to visit the physician at regular
intervals then you can set all the appointments at once and you can also
set reminders for all of them at once. When an appointment is cancelled or
moved, the appointment in the wait list is given preference. It's easy to
find information you need. You can view the daily schedule of each
physician at any location and you can search for appointments of a
particular physician or patient. The scheduling module is intuitive and
easy to use. New personnel can actually be trained in minutes.
Superbill: Create super bill templates
and super bills which are tailored to each physician in a practice. Super
bill templates are usually created by the physicians reflecting his or her
unique practice profile and are used primarily for claim creation
purposes. Once a super bill is signed-off by a physician, claims can be
created by the billing clerk. The super bill template can include
important patient information such as demographics or practice information
such as patient number or next appointment date, in addition to ICD and
CPT codes - a superbill can become a face sheet or a routing sheet. The
Reliant Health System is designed to prompt physicians through the creation of
super bills using their custom templates in order to minimize mistakes and
maximize reimbursement. And because the Reliant Health System is Palm
Synchronized, physicians can create super bills remotely on their PDAs
using those same templates and let the front office upload the information
later.
Billing: Prepare claims and process
payments from the patients and payers. A detailed and robust module, it
allows clerks to prepare claims with all the details about the services
provided to the patient at the practice. The claims can be created
manually or from the super bills created by the physicians. The module is
used to submit a claim to the payer through EMC receivers registered with
Reliant Health. The claim can be submitted manually or electronically depending
on what the payer supports. The module keeps track of payments received
from payers as well as patient responsibility and payments. Once payment
is made, the module is used to reconcile the claim and close the claim.
Reports: With the proper authorization,
generate and access a wide variety of useful reports that give you
meaningful information to run your practice better. Information on your
clinical, financial and administrative operations and management. Reports
can be shared online or exported to MS Word, MS Excel or e-mail formats.

Mobile Solutions: Our Mobile Solution makes the patient appointment, the charge capture and patient visit information functionality of the Reliant Health System accessible through an easy-to-use hand-held device (PDA). You'll save time and have access to data that was previously available only at your desktop -- review appointment schedules, create super bills and more. Best of all, the information stored in your hand-held is easily downloaded and integrated into the system at your office.

The Reliant Health Practice Management Solution allows unique views for physicians, patients, practice administrator, front office personnel and billing staff.
Custom Interfaces: With Reliant Health, you can have Custom Interfaces based on the roles and requirements of different people using and accessing the system. The interfaces can be customized in two ways - by setting permissions and by using role-based consoles or "cockpits."
Setting Permissions: each and every menu has buttons for performing operations such as view, enter, edit, delete. Each separate user of the system can have different settings. Each of the roles has a default set of permissions. As the practice grows and responsibilities change, newer staff will have more limited access and the more experienced may take on greater or different responsibilities necessitating the changing of their permissions.
Role-based Cockpits: The concept is that the screen presented to a user has the most widely used - and allowed -- functions easily accessible in a single click. In addition, there are "dials" or indicators that provide feedback to the user on how well things are going in the office with respect to items, issues and activities that they can influence.
Deployment: The Reliant Health Solution is available in an ASP Model or a stand-alone model. With the ASP Model, the system is supported and maintained away from your office by Reliant Health or other qualified professionals, so you don't need an IT staff or infrastructure knowledge. With the Stand-Alone Model you maintain control and are responsible for support of the system and the data from a server in your offices. |

The Reliant Health EMR Software is a 32 bit application that conforms to the Win32 API and utilizes OLE for inter-application communication, and the supported databases utilize both ANSI standard SQL and ODBC to communicate with the client. Communications standards such as Health Level (HL7) are used to exchange clinical information with other systems, and a MAPI compliant interface connects Reliant Health EMR with internal and Internet based electronic mail systems. The use of these standards means that Reliant Health EMR can share the same hardware and software environment as other standards based applications, which lowers the overall cost of a complete information system solution. The use of standards also ensures the long term viability and supportability of Reliant Health EMR as technology evolves. |
