Dictation is received in a digital format from the client, which is then transcribed by our qualified Medical Transcriptionists into a computer file. The transcribed computer file is passed on to the primary "Quality Assurance" team where qualified employees check the hard copy files for content and accuracy. Reports are then passed on to a Second Level "Quality Assurance" Team where the reports are randomly checked by our Staff Doctors. Once approved by our final "QA" teams, the reports are transmitted to the client in the specified format.

Types of Dictations:

 
 

Wave Format: DSP Speech Format with extension *.wav

One needs a toll free (1-800-Number) so that the doctors can dictate using a phone and these dictations are converted in to wav file in your server using a third party software in to prescribed format (DSP Speech Format) and then these files are to be transferred to the FTP site.

DIGITAL FORMAT: *.dss

This gives superior sound, longer recording time, and the ability to quickly transfer audio files to a computer via USB, PC connection, or removable SmartMedia, digital recorders provide an affordable and easy-to-use professional dictation solution.

Length of the dictation that can be recorded depends on the capacity of the chip being used. After recording, files have to be transferred to the doctor's system and then to the FTP directly from the doctor's office. The transfer of files from digital player to doctor's system will be done by the software provided by the vendor once the player is connected to the computer using USB interface.

Recommended digital players are: Olympus DS 150, DS 330, www.olympusamerica.com .

Files from the FTP site will be downloaded at our end (Reliant Health Transcription service), processed and the (documents) files will be uploaded back to the FTP. The access to this FTP where we upload the document or files has to be given to the doctor or hospital clients so that they can download the documents directly. We also include a daily report of the number of dictations received, the number of documents uploaded, patient names, and line count.

Transfer of files thru FTP is 100% safe as the FTP can only be accessed using IP address username and password.

Data Required by Reliant Health Transcription Service from the doctor are (1). Templates, (2). Samples (earlier transcribed files). (3). Referral Doctors list (for letters). (4) Any other preferences of the doctor.

The customized new fire wall system built in-house at Reliant Health adds real-time scanning of the hard disk, of crucial system files and monitors files such as *.ini, *.bat,*.sys. It will also protect the system registry, startup folders and the Network Interface (where infection by illegal sharing occurs) and provides on the fly detection of e-mail, ICQ interaction, and all types of software downloads. Additionally, It automatically traces and identifies the hacker's attempted intrusion in a matter of milliseconds. It also offers net utilities that will even deliver up the hacker's ISP address, mailing address, telephone number and other pertinent information.
